As a Product Developer you will lead and deliver product development projects from product concept, formulation design, lab prototype and pilot and plant trial to product launch to market.
Your main tasks & responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering Product Development Formulations.
- Prepare and review technical documents necessary for each phase of product development and product registrations.
- Responsible for executing plant trials and first commercial productions of innovation projects in Nijmegen plant.
- Contributing and assisting in the qualification of new ingredients, processes and packaging components and troubleshooting in case of product and process deviations.
- Effective communication in technical topics to various audiences to influence decisions.
- Effective utilization of networking with internal and external parties.
- Participating in technical or cross functional project teams.
- Executing, participating, and evaluating sensorial and stability tests.
- Responsible for laboratory work associated with product development.
Your profile is…
Up to 5 years of experience in food/pharmaceutical/dairy manufacturing industry in R&D, QA or production function with experience in product development, particularly in product formulations.
- BSc or MSc degree in Food Technology/Food Science, Food Engineer, Chemical engineering, or any other Food Science related Science degree
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Can work with people and in teams in different levels and function of the organization across different cultures
- Able to handle multiple projects at one time
- Attention to accuracy and detail with good analytical, organizational skills and follow through.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take responsibility with good sense of self-motivation.
- Knowledge of food science principles and product development principles
- Knowledge of dairy unit operations
