At Mead Johnson’s automation department, we are in control of the factory automation. Here we provide support on the automation domain and keep our 24/7 production facility up to standard with latest technologies.
Assignment
In the current situation a great amount of data points from our production assets are being logged to historian servers. The utilization of these data points is currently limited. What we like to accomplish that these data points will be transformed and visualized on (live) dashboards. These dashboards should inform the stake holders with metrics on the performance of our production facility.
The assignment would involve the following tasks:
- Consult with production and engineering stake holders on the metrics what they would like to have visualized. This could include but is not limited to OEE, KPI‘s and various others.
- Define technical requirements for the visualization application.
- Select and acquire the best for purpose visualization tools.
- Program live production and engineering dashboards for at least one canning line. This may include modifications to PLC’s and Historians.
This is you
- You are following an HBO/WO program in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with a major in Industrial Automation.
- You are interested in an internship that will give you exposure to modern automation equipment across all levels of the automation pyramid (ISA-95).
- You are comfortable with a high level of autonomy.
- Strong command of Dutch and English, verbal and written.
