Within the Engineering team we are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven Electrical Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Engineering.
Our Electrical Engineer is responsible for the complete electrical installation of the site (Facilities and Utilities). The Electrical Engineer also implements the designation policy according to NEN 3140 and NEN1010 and ensures that the installation, including its new installation and maintenance program, complies with current Dutch laws and regulations.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Be the Electrical Installation Responsible Person of the site:
- Acting as point of contact for installation related questions;
- Installation / Work Manager and NEN 1010 NEN 3140 for the site.
- Contribute to the Engineering, Construction and Maintenance of essential projects:
- Support and lead new projects with electrical standard requirements and verifications;
- Proactively work on improvements to optimize reliability and performance of the installation;
- Perform Safety assessment and support Job Hazard analysis;
- You develop, implement and benchmark electrical engineering practices, standards, and technological advancements.
You’ll succeed because you have:
- A Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical degree equivalent;
- A strong Electrical Engineering background of at least 10 years’ experience in Engineering and 3 years’ leadership and working experience preferably within GMP (food and pharmaceutical) and/or manufacturing;
- Risk Assessment Skills;
- Communication and Reporting skills;
- A commitment to ongoing continual Learning to keep up with industry advancements and changes in safety standards;
- Legal and Liability Understanding associated with NEN 3140, NEN 4288, NEN 1010, NEN60204-1 and ATEX compliance and electrical safety within the Dutch legal framework.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.
- This position is ideal for an engineer to combine electrical engineering, analytical and leadership skills. We are looking for candidates already senior in some of those competences and willing to develop in the other ones.
