As General Operator Premix & BBFA you will perform the most common tasks in the day-to-day operations of the Premix & BBFA (big bag filling area) department. This includes the manufacturing and cleaning processes. The goal is to work within the given parameters and procedures to safely deliver a high-quality product in an efficient and effective manner.
What will you do as General Operator Premix & BBFA?
Compliance with safety and quality policies. Identifying unsafe situations, making proposals for improvement and initiating actions.
- Providing “on the job” training of employees and recording this.
- Actively monitor day-to-day performance and take action in case of deviations (including coordination of tasks within the premix team as well as with other departments, such as LPSD or DBFIN operations, planning, (technical and logistics) warehouse and technical service).
- Receiving, scooping and weighing raw materials and keeping related documents and systems up-to-date/clean (GWINS/SAP stock, MBR data).
- Participate in improvement projects.
- Responsible as sub-area owner for premix and contact person during (GMP, internal or external) audits.
- Reporting anomalies/incidents in the systems available for this purpose.
- Devise and participate in improvement projects.
- Point of contact for the team leader and other departments for your department.
Who are you?
You are motivated to work accurately, know the process best and have the knowledge to improve performance and to produce the right product quality within developed parameters and procedures. Moreover, it suits you to coordinate the work of +/- 6 operators so that the work runs as smoothly as possible.
Qualifications, competences and experience
- MBO / VAPRO B.
- Team player with helicopter view who can act independently in a dynamic environment.
- Experience as an operator within the food or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of various systems such as SAP, Scada, Microsoft Office, GLIMS.
- Knowledge of safety and quality requirements (LOTO, GMP, GDP).
