As an Operational Coordinator you play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our (Packaging/LPSD) factory. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead and support the dedicated team to ensure targets on safety, quality, cost, and volume are met consistently. Your contribution will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What will you do as Operational Coordinator?
- Coordinate the day-to-day troubleshooting activities with the dedicated team.
- Reviews, maintains, and improves production standards.
- Uphold the Mead Johnson Production System pillars within department; primarily Leadership Development, Root Cause Problem Solving and Performance Management.
- Coordinate the efforts to make sure the OEE, write off and waste figures are on target.
- Coordinate the execution, improvement, and maintenance of Quality and Safety policies and standards to meet quality specifications and prevent injuries and environmental damage.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, HACCP, GMP guidelines, 5s, and autonomous maintenance.
- Review and coordinate the implementation of the MBR system to ensure product traceability.
- Manage deviation ownership for complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Initiate and coordinate production improvements to enhance safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and lead times.
- Lead, participate in, or advise multidisciplinary project teams focused on various operational aspects.
- Coordinate and motivate the dedicated team on a daily basis, especially in the absence of the Production Manager.
- Lead the dedicated team in the absence of the Production Manager and participate in operational site meetings as needed.
- Ensure adherence to guidelines, standards, and methods.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or operations role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and safety standards.
- Experience with project management is a plus.
