As a Warehouse employee, you are engaged in efficiently and effectively contributing to the coordination and planning of the flow of goods to 24/7 production by receiving, moving and sending goods using internal transport equipment, according to set guidelines and procedures.
What will you do as Warehouse employee?
- Ensures delivery/returns to and from various production processes in accordance with production.
- Consults with 3PL on inbound/outbound flow of goods to ensure shipment/receipt according to packing lists or CMRs.
- Consults with coordinators on (return) goods a.o. DCs/TPMs and prepares required documents for this purpose.
- Checks and delivers according to TOs on a daily basis.
- Performs verification of correct packaging specifications and volumes according to required work instructions.
- Performs stock counts according to set procedure and reports findings to supervisor.
- Identifies (administrative) discrepancies and reports them to supervisor so that a non-conformities can be written. If necessary, contributes to the settlement of non-conformities and complaints.
- Checks (internal) transport means and equipment on a daily basis, puts things out of order if necessary and reports deviations to the manager.
- Identifies and reports damages or near misses to supervisor.
- Observes problems in the storage capacity, reports these in a timely manner and thinks along with solutions.
- Takes care of a tidy workplace/warehouse.
Who are you?
- MBO education, preferably in a technical direction.
- A valid diploma or certificate for driving internal transport equipment (Forklift/Reach truck/Pallet truck).
- Experience with the use of computer systems (SAP).
- Some knowledge of physical distribution and understanding of container/truck loading.
- Able to handle constructive criticism.
- A customer-oriented, committed, reliable attitude combined with a good team spirit.
- Good communication skills in the Dutch language, both verbal and written.
